Getting wet with Kate's dirty sister

Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel has been widely heralded as the new Michael Schumacher. If I was him I'd be pretty fucked off by being compared to such a talentless, humourless hack as the big chinned one. As discussed previously, Seb seems to be as good value as he is good behind the wheel. He walked it (or perhaps waded) from pole position in Sunday's largely-underwater Chinese F1 Grand Prix, even trouncing the finest race driver ever to have once been a ballboy for the Canberra Raiders, his Strayan teammate Mark 'Hopalong' Webber in the same car. And then went on to explain why he gives his cars girls names. "My original car was called Kate. Like a ship, it should be named after a girl as it’s sexy." Erm, whatever does it for you, Seb. But then he took Kate out in Melbourne but the pair of them got wiped out and she ended up completely smashed. Her replacement was faster, more aggressive and trickier to handle but ultimately, a better ride. She was dubbed Kate’s Dirty Sister. And, as per reputation, she went like the clappers.

Update of another racing-related story previously followed on the World of Bollocks - turns out Indycar driver and former Star with whom Dancing was televisually availed of the US populace, Helio Castroneves won't be grabbing his ankles in the shower block at the county farm any time soon. Well, not unless he's got a new hobby his Penske team aren't aware of. He's been acquitted on all counts of tax evasion brought against him by the Feds, leaving his replacement, Woomby Land refugee Will Power (yes that is his real name) out of a full time gig once more, and the rest of us wondering what the fuck the Feds thought they were doing bringing the case in the first place.

But the most intriguing entry in this edition of Recycling A Bunch Of Old Shit We Talked About Fucken Ages Ago is... this. Ben Elton once said that the most pressing question facing society at that time was 'the Australian question', which was, as he put it, 'Which of Hi-5 would you shag first?'

Here's your answer.

Yeah, it's the blonde chick from Hi-5, slutting it up an absolute treat in failing ACP wankers' interest mag Ralph. No idea whether she has a sister called Kate.

We dealt with Kellie's marital issues in a literature review from our occasional gossip-mag correspondent, Munter the Invercargill truck driver, which also included the Munter's first experience of her line of work:
So anyway, this one was worth the price of admission alone. Strawberry blonde, like Nic Kidman back in the day before she fucked off and married that impotent Scientologist midget with the big honker and the miniscule cock. Slender as you like - the Munter tends to prefer them with a bit of meat on their bones, but I wasn't gonna kick her out of bed if she farted - great legs, tits, and an arse you could open a stubbie with. I had me usual seat, kicking back with a beer - Jesus they charge like a wounded bull these days - as this chick started doing her thing. Her eyes meet mine, she's got this dirty little grin on her face. None of this 'going through the motions' rubbish you get with some other so-called 'professional entertainers'. 'Going through the motions' is what you used to do swimming off Bondi before they extended the outfall - it's not what you want when you lay down your hard earned for a bit of fun yeah? Anyway this one was no talk and all action, me favourite. Harder than four unit maths I was. So she crawls on all fours across her little stage in some sort of skimpy skin-tight athletic legging sort of schtick - not the usual get-up but I wasn't writing to the ODT to complain. "I'm a dirty little piggie," she purred with that spank-my-arse grin. Fuckin' bet you are luv, I nodded. "And I need to take a bath...." At that point I almost knocked me beer over on the remote control...
It'd be less disturbing if it hadn't actually happened. Half-seven in the morning, hungover, seedy, cradling strong stovetop-espresso, mesmerised by and not dealing well with all the vibrant colour and movement on the crystal bucket, is NOT the time of day you expect to see a slammin' strawberry-blonde hottie crawling around on all fours declaring she's a dirty little piggy who needs a bath. (Aforementioned dirty piggie pictured left in happier times.) You're not equipped to deal with that sort of input the morning after a few too many Chateau Dodgy home brews on a Sunday night watching the world superbikes. At least we weren't, until Craigos and I came up with the lightbulb moment of muting the synthetic kiddie-centric pop bilge and instead supplying some more appropriate form of audio accompaniment. Like Black Sabbath, or Frenzal Rhomb. You've not lived unless you've watched a trio of Hi-5 hotties gyrating to something like Lord Of This World or Russell Crowe's Band's A Fucken Pile Of Shit.

Which brings us to the point of the, um, exercise: kids TV hotties. The handwringing over Kellie togging off for ACP's leery lensmen is nothing new; it goes back, waaaaayyyy back, even beyond Sophie Lee's fishnet miniskirts and sultry pout on the Bugs Bunny Show in the early '90s. Kids TV and hotties have always gone together: Terasa Livingstone, Sofie Formica, Catriona Rowntree - hell, even Ranger Stacey if you were that way inclined - and a bunch of others now long-forgotten and not a little moth-eaten, but who back in the day were the evolutionary precursors of modern-era kids TV hotties like Kellie, the ginger one and the Asian one from Hi-5. None of whom have still got a gig on the show of course - one married the token straight one from Savage Garden, one fucked off to Seven, and one - our favourite one (Charli, though marginally hotter, was fundamentally more annoying) - stuck with it right to the end, then went and quasi-nuded-up for Ralph. Which was, and is, why we love her so.

It's almost enough to make you forget she was partly responsible for inflicting the Teen Queens upon us.

Almost.

The Doctor is OUT.

PS It's Craigos' 31st today. If you run into him, buy him a beer.

Ralph is an American euphemism for vomiting. Thought you'd like to know that.

And if he named his car Kate's Dirty Sister, Vettel is my newest favorite driver.

And I saw news footage of Helio after his acquittal. With the way he was blubbering in his effeminate Portuguese accent, I can assure you he's taking it up the arse very much voluntarily.

Now when the kid watch Hi-5 shows on tv here I can look at Kellie with added interest. It's great when women actors, fall on hard times after there tv work and resort to taking their clothes off while the men have to resort to working behind the counter in McDonalds!

The men still take their clothes off, but nobody's paying them for it.

Steve - Ralph has the same meaning here, which gives you an indication of the target demographic. Somewhere between the lads' magazine territory of FHM or Maxim and the out-and-out lightweight skin mags. As for Helio, he's always crying, if he's not climbing up things. If the Indycar gig falls over (given, f'rinstance, that Will Power appears to be a faster driver) there's always Days Of Our Lives to fall back on. Crying on cue = permanent long term employment.

Mr Stu - oh but she's 'empowering herself' and it's 'liberating' and 'after 10 years in kids TV she wanted to do something that made her feel like a woman' (Sit down to go to the toilet? Crash your partner's car when parking? Menstruate? There's plenty of options) which basically means 'yeah, I'm getting 'em out because this pile of cash is too damn pretty to decline.' She'd be pretty pissed off that of the other 'original' three Hi-5 chicks, Kathleen (the Asian girl) married the 'other' guy from Savage Garden who is loaded as fuck, and Charli (the ginge) changed networks and got a big money deal with Channel Seven, appearing on Dancing With The Stars etc. Your countryman Ben Elton's observation that the most pressing question facing modern society was 'which of Hi-5 you'd shag first' (or last, I can't remember, same point really) remains a compelling point of debate. They're better to look at than the fricken Wiggles at least.

Vettel rocks which works at Red Bull, imagine him at McLearn. Or should that be Hamilton Racing as it will soon be known.

Will Power is twice the driver Helio is.

How did the Wiggles continue to exist once Hi-5 came along?

I wouldn't crawl over Ranger Stacey to get to Catriona Rowntree.

Dear Doctor. Yes, Kellie is indeed the kindergarten teacher of choice but I'd like to point out an up and comer so to speak, Kellyn Morris.
The other day I saw her on a kiddie's puzzle show and I immediately thought "FHM". As for the cartoon hostesses I remember a young Kate Fischer hosting the Loony Tunes show, looking tarty and (giggling. saying "I always do what the boys tell me don't I boys?". The camera nodded in agreement.

Yep always good when the 'nice' girls from kiddies TV or the soaps decide their careers needs a little push so they strip off for the lads mags.

Who says we got no culture?

Naut - McLaren appear to be a large vacuum where personalities go to die. Juan Pie-blo Montoya was never the same after that place. And yeah, Rowntree's not been treated fabulously by the passage of time (not even the third hottest chick on her own show - there could even be a parallel story here about hotties from TV travel shows, most of the kids TV hotties ended up there one way or another) but back in the day you know you would have. (OK 'the day' was about 15 years ago but I'm still calling it as valid.)

Therbs - had forgotten all about Kate Fischer taking up the slutty cartoon host cudgels from Sophie Lee after the latter went on to do something far more classy and mature ('Sex with Sophie Lee' I think the show was.) Then again not sure I'd go near anything James Packer's had a dig through.

Chaz - I figure it's simple economics, what the market wants, the market gets.

If Helio was any good, he would've gone to Formula 1 (or tried). Driving those cars around in ovals is one thing, but taking them on road courses where you're abusing your innards with the change in speed and g-force is a different game.

He would definitely make a good "Gay Latino Lover" on a soap opera.

Why the hell did you Aussies send us The Wiggles, instead of Hi-5? I think that's children's entertainment that I could've gotten into a lot more (were they adults when they did it, or were they all like 10 year old girls at the time? If the latter, then never mind).

Surprised Helio never even looked at Europe, given most Brazilian drivers with an ounce of talent aim straight at British Formula 3 or Formula Renault Euroseries or whatever and try to get to F1. Presumably he knew what everyone else didn't - he wasn't up to the talent level of his contemporaries and instead found a niche in Indycar. It's full of guys who are a'ight but not really world beaters - Dixon's quick but he's tested for Williams F1 and shown a bit wanting, Franchitti came over in the late 90s because he was never going to get anywhere beyond German Touring Cars and Le Mans sportscars, Briscoe was discarded by Toyota who didn't think he was F1 material. Even back in the day when Mansell came over he was pretty elderly (pushing 40) but still annihilated everyone.

As for the Wiggles vs Hi-5, it's basically the difference between a proper band and manufactured top-40 pop. The kids seem to like the Wiggles more. To be fair the guys from the Wiggles are all trained early childhood teachers - the band was set up as an assignment project for their uni course, out of the remnants of a pub band they'd had earlier - so their stuff is a bit cleverer than Hi-5's in terms of getting into the kids heads, pressing buttons and teaching them stuff. The original Hi-5ers were all around 18-20 when the show started in the late 90s, so you're allowed to keep thinking what you're currently thinking. The blonde's a 1974 vintage, quite a fine year for blondes I would say.

Helio tried Formula 3, and still ended up in Indy Car, so my guess is, he was sat down by a crotchety (Englishman/German/Italian) manager and told in polite terms, "you should stick to the sort of driving where only left turns are made."

Only Mario Andretti has ever really had measurable cross-over success, but Andretti can't really be measured among mere mortals in terms of driving. Jeff Gordon has done some sickening things with NASCAR on road courses, which leads me to believe he might've been able to make the jump to F1 if he had done so when he was 18 or 20.

Hey Steve you missed Graham Hill and Jim Clark who both raced at Indy.

Not forgetting the great Aussie Jack Brabham.

Dr Yobbo said...

Big Pies Montoya might be arse at Nascar but he's in a select group of peeps who've won at Monaco and Indy. Jacques Villeneuve - stupid hair, awful singer, won a F1 title and at Indy. But you're right, guys going the other way are rare. I think Jeff Gordon tested a Williams in a job-swap with Montoya and showed out pretty well but if you were earning like he was (this was back when he was winning every second race in Nascar) why would you can the lot of it to try, and probably fail if not in the best car, at F1?
